Pepperoni & Feta Pasta Salad

Hello my Love Bakes Good Cakes peeps -  #LBGCP!  (It is officially a hash-taggy thing, now...just go with it...humor me).  It is I, Kim, from Soliloquy Of Food & Such.  This month has just flown by, I tell ya!  Thanks for reading my #FirstFridayOfEveryMonth contribution on #LBGC.  #TooManyHashtags?  (sorry, I got carried away).

Pepperoni & Feta Pasta Salad - www.soliloquoffood.com

I am sharing this Pepperoni & Feta Pasta Salad today, it is one of our favorite pasta salads.  Seeing how we are super busy with our new #workcamper jobs, my food preparation level has fallen to: #OMGWeAreEatingTHISForSupper?!?!?!?!  I kid you not.  It's been eat-to-live, not live-to-eat; so when it came time for Pepperoni & Feta Pasta salad, making and eating this sure was a treat!

Oh, did I forget to mention that I mixed it all up in a Ziploc bag?  Super fancy...I know, right?  I can AT LEAST say we plated it on actual dishes and refrained from eating it directly out of the bag like a couple of savages.  WHAT would Martha Stewart say (#WWMSS)?

If you like pepperoni, feta, black olives and banana peppers, then this is for you!  Now imagine them tossed with pasta and a little salad dressing.....Good Lord, gimme a Ziploc (#GLGAZ)!

Okay.  I'm done.  No more hashtags (#NMH).

Pepperoni & Feta Pasta Salad

1 pound of rotini pasta; cooked, drained & cooled
3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
6 oz small sliced pepperoni rounds; chopped into quarters
6 oz can of black olives; drained and sliced
1/2 cup banana pepper rings, chopped
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1 gallon-sized Ziploc bag (optional)

Combine everything in a large bowl (or Ziploc bag); toss well.  Chill for about an hour before serving; it's recommended....but if you can't wait, you can't wait.  I get it.

PMS Pizza? It's not what you think ... or maybe it is?!

PMS Pizza is a delicious homemade pizza topped with plenty of pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage!! What did you think it was?! It rivals the best pizza joint in town - but it's better!! Better why?! Because you control the quality (and lets be real - the quantity) of ingredients on this pie! Delizioso!

PMS Pizza - That's pepperoni, mushroom and sausage, in case you were wondering! Perfect for pizza night!! #pizza #lovebakesgoodcakes

Remember me telling y'all that I am soooo lame when it comes to naming things?! We'll call this post, "exhibit 674" ...... of many. A part of me finds a slight sense of amusement in knowing that people will ask, "what the heck is a PMS Pizza" ... what can I say, I need to get out more. Spend all day, every day with a bunch of kids and you'll find amusement in naming pizzas too. Just sayin'.

This PMS {pepperoni - mushroom - sausage} Pizza is one of my family's favorites! Use my Bread Machine Pizza Dough Recipe for an easy Friday night pizza night (or any night for that matter)!! :) Of course, store bought pizza dough/crust or your favorite pizza dough recipe is great too! Just adjust any cooking times accordingly.

We usually like to have our pizza with a big salad or some kind of fresh fruit. Be sure to pass the Parmesan cheese and pepper flakes for the pizza! I hope your family enjoys this PMS Pizza as much as mine!

If using my homemade dough recipe: Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a large pizza pan or two smaller pizza pans. Pat dough into pan(s). Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10 minutes.

Spread Pizza sauce on pizza, using as much or as little as desired. Top pizza(s) with most of the cheese. Top with pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.

Bake for 10-17 minutes (less time for smaller pizzas, more time for large), or until the pizza is golden and the cheese is bubbly.Slice and serve hot!

Simple Pasta with Pepperoni and Mushrooms with Snack Cups and Smiles

The calendar may say it's September, but it still very much feels like summer here in Phoenix. Since it's our first year out here, I'm not really sure when it cools down?! When I need a quick and easy meal idea - or when it's just too darn hot to cook much - I turn to dishes like this Simple Pasta with Pepperoni and Mushrooms.
